A tour is made of steps. Each step is a place with a story, a photo, a quiz question or a task, which a participant unlocks by scanning, standing in the right spot, entering a code, or simply tapping.
Walk the route once, in your head or for real, and note per place what you want to show or ask there. Five to twelve steps works best for most tours: any shorter feels thin, any longer and people drop off.
For each step you fill in a title and some text, plus a photo, audio, video or quiz question if you like. You change the order by dragging. Edits are visible straight away, even while your tour is running.
Already have your route as a GPX file? Then you can turn it into steps in one go — see Importing a GPX route.
Per step you decide whether it opens with a QR code, by location, with NFC, with a PIN, at a set time, or simply with a tap.
Walk the tour once with your own phone, exactly the way a participant would.
