Test with a phone at the actual location, not from behind your laptop. Half of what goes wrong, goes wrong in the field: a code hanging in the sun, a step that only turns out to be unclear once you are really standing there.
What to check
Is every code scannable at eye level, even in bright light?
Is the order right, and is every code in the right place?
Does someone who does not know your route understand where to go?
Does the tour take roughly as long as you thought?
Does it work with your mobile data turned off? That tests the offline experience at the same time.
Does the final photo look good in your frame?
Bring someone along
Someone who does not know the route and has heard nothing from you. What they ask is exactly what you need to clarify.
