Printing and putting up QR codes

Your tour has one code sheet with all the steps on it. You print that from your admin area — or save it as a PDF through your browser’s print dialogue. Laminate them, hang them at eye level, and they will last a season.

Printing

In your admin area you open the code sheet and press Print. Want the codes in your own house style, with a sign, an explanation or a logo around them? Then choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialogue and cut the codes out of that.

Note: the code sheet is one sheet with all the steps. There are no separate per-step codes right now — you cut those out of the PDF yourself.

Size

Rule of thumb: a code scans well from about ten times its own width. So 3 centimetres scans from about 30 centimetres, 10 centimetres from a metre.

Putting them up

Printed codes keep working

If you later change a step’s title or text, the web address behind the code stays the same. You do not have to reprint. Your tour’s web address can be changed by hand though — so do not do that once the codes are up, because then the printed ones stop working.

During the trial period

Your code sheet says DEMO, so trial codes do not accidentally end up out in the real world.
