Selling tickets with unique codes

Alongside the shared access code you can create unique tickets. Each ticket is one code that you hand out, count and can withdraw individually — meant for anyone selling their tour, because a single shared code is all round the village within a day.

Where to find it

First set your tour to "Private, with one code" under ⚙️ Settings. Tick "Personal access tickets" just below it and the ticket maker opens right under that box. Do save: until you do, your tour is still open to everyone and the tickets do nothing.

Creating a batch

You choose how many tickets you want, give the batch a name ("Village Fair 2026", "Advance sales at the bakery") and see the codes immediately. Copy them or download them as CSV, so you can print them or put them into a mail merge.

How many devices per ticket

One by default: one ticket, one phone. If a family walks together and everyone wants to follow along, set it higher — then every device using the code counts towards that maximum. The same device starting again does not count twice, so nobody loses their ticket by clearing their browser.

Withdrawing

Withdrawing a ticket closes it immediately, including on a phone that was already inside with it. Handy for a code that got forwarded, or for a refund. Releasing it again is just as easy.

No longer need a shared code? Leave the code field empty. With tickets on, nobody gets in without one.

What we record

Per ticket, which devices have opened it — otherwise "one ticket, one phone" cannot be enforced. No name and no email address is stored with it, and once you delete a batch that record goes too.

The money

That does not run through us. You sell it yourself, in your own way; we supply the keys.
